When is rent due? The first of the month with a grace period up to the 6th without late fees.
Help the postman......When you first arrive at your new house, please write the last names of everyone at house on a piece of white paper and insert in sleeve of mailbox.
When you leave in the wintertime....never set the thermostat to be any lower than 50 degrees in order to avoid frozen pipes (could be a costly bill to yourself).
When is garbage pickup day? We use Winona hometown garbage service provider J&J Rubbish. Look for the red plastic pull dumpster. If taking garbage to curbside, please do so the night before as they are early birds! Note below whether pickup is curbside or alley.

When is recycling? See the schedule below for the day/date and from this date recycling is every two weeks thereafter. Bring recycling always to the curb. Recycle is the large blue bin.
We try to retain the student house’s original character and charm, while adding modern conveniences, often necessities. All of our five bedroom houses have that one “necessity” – two full bathrooms! You’ll find we have pride in our houses – modern bathrooms and kitchens; newer appliances (we don’t buy used); and newer carpet or refinished hardwood floors where possible. Houses are furnished with stove, refrigerator, free laundry and often dishwashers and central air. Our standard is also wired phone, cable and internet connections in all bedrooms and living room area and separate keyed locks on bedrooms. The majority of our houses have off-street parking.
We conduct business in our home one-half block from the WSU campus. Our office hours are “normal waking hours”, which means we’re real flexible, 7 days a week. Our leases are normally 12-month rental property leases beginning June 1. We begin showing for June rental openings in mid-September of the previous year. Besides this website, we publish our vacancies through WSU’s twice-monthly listing available at WSU Student Housing in Kryzsko Commons.
Let us know when your group is together for a showing and we can accommodate – days, evenings, weekends. All roommates being present for showings is convenient to your group as a whole as you can make a decision quicker; if this is not possible, we will still conduct showings with partial groups.
